Made another three tone cutting board. Used Purple Heart, Walnut and Maple.

Something I’ve been wanting to work on and was fairly easy to do. Bought this squarish Maple slab because no one else wanted it. It had gotten passed up by others and myself for a few months where I buy my slabs from. It didn’t take long to plane it and sand it down. Needs a little bit more sanding and then it’ll be done. Will fill in the cracks with epoxy also.
I’m thinking it would be great as a big cutting board/chopping block for a grill or smoker.

25” x (roughly) 23” x 2”

Purple Heart and Maple checker pattern cutting board. Doing this one was sort of a challenge but I enjoyed making it.

Upped the ante on this cutting board/Chopping Block and went with a four tone board. Walnut, Maple, Zebra wood and Purple Heart. Absolutely love making these boards. This one is for sale!

A couple of guitar bodies I’m working on. Started these a couple months ago but with other projects for clients they got pushed back. Dusted them off last night and going to continue working on them. The black one is further along than the blue one. The blue one is actually a chameleon color that consists of purple/yellow/blue depending on how the light hits it.

Thought I’d up my two tone cutting board/chopping block game to a three tone. This was fun to make and this is FOR SALE too. Used Purple Heart, Walnut and Maple.

Barrel Stave Bench
Here’s the finished product. I liked the raw look of the bench but I wanted it to match the rest of the decor in the room. Went with a black stain on the interior side of the stave and dark walnut on the sides, but left the raw stave untouched on the exterior side of the stave.

Barrel Stave Bench
Bought some and got donated some barrel staves last year around this time and am just now working on projects with them. It’s not quite complete yet. Going to finish the interior part that’s exposed (like the top of the seat) with a black stain I think. This was a fun little project. It holds my weight so I know it’s sturdy.
