This is probably one of the hardest decisions I have ever had to make, and without a doubt, one of the hardest posts I’ve ever had to write. 💔
After many tears, prayers, sleepless nights, and a lot of reflection, I have made the incredibly difficult decision to close The Pink Magnolia.
Please know this decision was not made lightly. This business has been such a huge part of my life, and walking away from something I have poured so much of my heart, time, and energy into is heartbreaking.
But this year has changed me and my life in so many ways.
The economy has made running a small business incredibly difficult, but beyond the business side of things, I have been walking through some of the hardest personal moments of my life. I lost my grandma, my Mimi, and I am still learning how to navigate that loss. I was grieving someone I loved so deeply while also trying to soak up those precious moments after having my baby. There were days I was trying to be a mom, a wife, a business owner, a daughter, and everything in between while quietly falling apart inside.
And the truth is… my priorities have changed.
My kids need me. My husband needs me. My mom needs me. And I need to be present for the people I love while I still have the opportunity to be.
Life is too short, and this past year has reminded me of that in ways I never could have imagined.
Closing The Pink Magnolia does not mean I failed. It means I am choosing my family, my peace, and the people who need me most right now.
I am so incredibly thankful for every single person who has walked through these doors, placed an order, shared a post, brought a friend, supported a small-town dream, or simply encouraged me along the way. You have no idea what your support has meant to me.
The Pink Magnolia may be closing, but the memories, friendships, lessons, and love will stay with me forever. 🌸
