Closed Sunday & Monday Our goal is to make you feel good in what you're wearing. Sizing is XXS-3X depending on the brand. Founder/CEO Amanda Goddard is local to Harford County and opened the store in 2016, naming it after her grandfather's lucky number - 44. After earning her BS in Fashion Design & Merchandising, Amanda continued her studies in styling & trend forecasting in Paris, France. Working in boutiques, visual merchandising, and buying for a corporate menswear company, Amanda gained a wealth of knowledge in the fashion industry. Merging her interest in design & style with the boutique shopping experience, Boutique 44 was created out of the passion to help women feel good in their clothing. “Closing the shop is the brave thing to do. You are daring to imagine that you could have a different life.” a fitting quote from my favorite movie, You've Got Mail.

Well… here we are again. ❤️

Earlier this year, I announced that I was closing Boutique 44. Then, I changed my mind. I wasn't ready to let go. I am so glad that I gave myself that second chance.

I've realized that after 10 years, I just want time while the kids are still little. I want more ordinary days with them, less stress, and space to be present without business always on my mind.

✨Boutique 44 will close this Fall. It's official this time. My lease is up at the end of October and I've decided not to renew.

Our final shopping day will be sometime in October, but I haven't set the exact date yet.

Thank you to everyone who has been a part of our story and supported B44 over the years. I don't know exactly what comes next for me. Maybe that's the point.
