This morning before opening, this little Carolina Wren decided to try and check out some bird books. 🪶📖

Unfortunately, he flew right into our window. We heard a thud and immediately ran to the rescue. It seemed just stunned, sitting there on the ground. I scooped it up and checked both wings and legs and everything was in moving/working order.

It just leaned into my palm for a bit and panted. After about 5 minutes of resting and regaining its senses, it stood up real tall and off it went. ✨ We hope it’s okay 💜

Silver lining — I got to hold a Carolina Wren and add it to my life list ✅

Excuse my hands/nails. It’s shop cleaning and new set day 💅🏼
