Do you live a boring life?
Do you wake up, go to work, come home, cook dinner, do household chores, take care of the kids, go to bed, and then do it all over again? Day after day. Week after week.
Well, not these people...
The small photo is of Jedediah Goosetree and Mildred Picklebottom on their wedding day in 1890. Jeremiah "Jed" Goosetree worked as a rat catcher in New York, while Mildred served as Chief Jam Quality Inspector for a small but highly respected jam manufacturer in upstate New York.
They met when the jam factory became infested with rats. After an eight-month courtship, they married and went on to have twelve children—eight boys and three girls. Sadly, Jed died from an infected rat bite shortly before their last child was born.
The round-framed portrait is of Gertrude Leafbinder. Never call her "Gerdy" unless you're looking to get your lip split.
Gertrude never married and lived a life of adventure. She grew up in a remote town in northern Saskatchewan with six brothers and was never afraid of anyone or anything. If someone stood in her way, she stood right back.
At fourteen, she left home to make her own way in the world. She learned to be completely self-sufficient and eventually became the most successful fur trader in western Canada.
Sadly, her story came to an end when, after a night of heavy drinking, she stepped into one of her own bear traps and froze to death.
The final picture is a wedding photo of the infamous leader of the Pigfeather Gang from Bugtussle, Oklahoma. That's right—the one and only Melvin Pigfeather and his wife, Prudence Huffleberry.
For nearly twenty-five years, Melvin terrorized the quiet little town of Bugtussle. His gang controlled the town and much of the surrounding area throughout his reign.
Eventually, the townspeople had enough. Melvin, Prudence, and three other gang members were gunned down in a final showdown that brought an end to the Pigfeather Gang.
See? It's never too late to change your life.
You can do it yourself right now...
Or you can wait a hundred years for some random bored guy on the internet to change it for you.
