🌿 Why Lead-Free Solder? 🌿

You may not think about what holds a stained glass piece together, but I do!

At Foraged Findings, I choose to use lead-free solder whenever possible—especially for my jewelry. 💚

Traditional stained glass often uses lead-based solder, but I want to be thoughtful about the materials I work with and the pieces I create for you to wear and enjoy.

Lead-free solder can be a little trickier to work with, but I believe those little choices matter. 🌱

From the glass I choose to the materials that bring it all together, every piece is made with intention.

OKAY I have more to share 😭✨

With my Etsy opening almost here, I’ll also be at a craft fair on September 12th!!

Which means… I need to make some room 👀
I’ll be letting go of a few older pieces soon to clear space for all the new work I’ve been making (and I’m honestly so excited about it).It feels like the perfect time for a refresh, and I can’t wait to share what’s next.

Gorgeous handmade earrings by Foraged Findings 💙 All of Sierra’s pieces are unique, handmade and inspired by the beauty of nature. Her attention to detail and ability to freeze a moment in time with her work is inspiring to me as a photographer. Her pieces are both durable and affordable. These earrings in particular are absolutely gorgeous and one my favorite pieces Sierra shared with me during our session. Sierra also happens to be one of the kindest people I’ve had the pleasure of meeting, I highly recommend doing business with this local artist! 💞

I’ve been talking about doing this for a while… so I’m finally just doing it.

I’m opening an Etsy on September 1st with handmade pieces inspired by nature—pressed plants, glass, butterfly wings, little things that feel like they belong in a curiosity cabinet.

It’s definitely a “figure it out as I go” situation, but I’m excited to see where it leads 🌿

During a wonderful visit to🌱Longfellows Greenhouse, I saw this beautiful Iris🪻 that was perfect to showcase my newest addition to my earring options. Made with lead free solder, glass, and copper foil.
