Someone got adopted! As 80s babies whose beloved wedding officiant started his remarks with “MAWWIAGE,” finding this first edition of The Princess Bride was really fun for us. We are sad to see it go, happy it is off to continue spreading joy, and hopeful to come across another copy one day soon 📕❤️

This is a pirated copy of Walt Whitman’s Leaves of Grass - publisher Richard Worthington bought the plates at auction after Thayer & Eldridge went bankrupt, printing these unauthorized copies some twenty years after the original 1860 first edition.
