Hello to all our friends , I wish to thank everyone for their prayers and and well wishes during this tough time for our family. Bobbie’s funeral was a nice tribute to her life and memories were shared at the reception. We will all miss her, but know that she is in a better place, free from the cancer. Rest In Peace mother ❤️❤️

Hello to all our friends of MVA, it is with great sadness - but also joy in the Lord, that we announce the passing of my mother, Bobbie Gier - co founder of MVA on Tuesday, August 11. She fought a tough battle with Mantle Cell Lymphoma, but after two different courses of treatment she decided to end her fight and go be with the Lord. We are truly blessed that she was able to pass into His arms with all of her family by her side. Many of our customers will remember her as a spirited lady, who could talk sights with anyone - even though she never was a shooter. She enjoyed meeting new customers on her trips to Raton (1993-early 2000s) and could remember names and orders like a Rolodex. Bobbie retired from MVA - hard to say when, as she always had a presence in the shop - even when she was traveling and spending time with her 9 grandchildren. It has been an honor for me as a son to be able to work and learn from two of the greatest people I know, Jim and Bobbie Gier. I strive to continue their legacy as MVA moves on, manufacturing the finest quality sights in the world. Thank you all for the memories over the years.

We had a beautiful weekend up in Butte for the Montana State Silhouette Championship for Black Powder Cartridge Rifles.

Congratulations to Heather Griffis on becoming the first woman to win the Scope Championship! We are honored to have donated a new Model A 10X scope with “2020 Montana BPCRS Champion” engraved on it. Heather had a high score of 56/80, winning in a shoot off with her husband Mark!

On Sunday, the weather turned blustery with over an inch of rain falling during the match.

In the Iron Sight match, congratulations to Darrel Smithson for winning the championship in a shoot off with Bryan Youngberg, with a score of 55/80.

Winning the High Turkey Count (a Long Range Buffalo Soule) was Butch Ulsher, prevailing in a shoot off with Bryan Youngberg and Mike Otterberg.
In Butte, the shoot off is offhand, no sighters on turkeys. Butch hit on his 4th attempt.

Hello to all of our friends and customers in the shooting community! I have just recently become a Facebook administrator to my page here. So I will now be able to post to the page, with pictures and videos of our new products and accessories.
