Earlier this week we received a special request for a very special “Grandmother’s Day” arrangement. 💕

I don’t think the person who ordered it could have known just how much I would love making this one.

I’m incredibly lucky to still have both of my grandmas, and both of them were such influential parts of my childhood. I grew up with grandmothers who showed up, loved big, taught me things, encouraged me, and helped shape so much of the person I am today. 💗

So when someone asks me to make something BIG and beautiful to celebrate a grandma who means the world to them… you better believe I’m going to put my whole heart into it.

This one was overflowing with flowers grown right here at Green Thumb Farm — dahlias, zinnias, Cherry Blossom delphinium, White Lite sunflowers, statice, scabiosa, hanging amaranth and more. 🌸

Getting to grow these flowers is pretty special. Getting to use them to help someone celebrate a person who has meant so much in their life is even better.

Here’s to the grandmas who helped raise us, spoiled us, taught us, cheered us on, and continue to be some of the most special people in our lives. 💐💕

The first hints of fall are starting to be requested for events! ❤️🍂

This special order is headed out from the farm today. It features Benary’s Giant Deep Red Zinnias, Cornel Dahlias & Potomac Red Snapdragons.

There’s something especially satisfying about seeing an entire order come together in one color palette. 😍

Whether you’re looking for a few bunches for yourself, flowers for an event, or locally grown stems for your floral work, we’re always happy to see if we have your color pallet in bloom.

Today’s bouquets are keeping it simple 🌻💛

The sunflower patch is absolutely showing off right now, so today’s bunches are going to be SUNFLOWERS, SUNFLOWERS + MORE SUNFLOWERS! 🌻

Each bunch will feature a mix of the colors and varieties blooming on the farm right now—from classic golden yellows to those gorgeous moody, rusty tones.

Freshly cut this morning and headed to Green Thumb Garden Supply today! 💛

Sometimes one flower really is enough. 🌻

If we told you we’re planting 800 plants this fall, would you believe us? 🥲🌱

We have big dreams for our flower farm, and planting hardy perennial plugs this fall is one way we’re setting ourselves up for an even bigger 2027 season. 💛

Some of these plants are destined for the market bouquets you’ll find at Green Thumb Garden Supply (and maybe elsewhere 👀), while others were chosen specifically to help us expand our wedding offerings and grow more specialty cuts for local florists.

800 plants sounds a little crazy when we say it out loud… but we can already picture what they’re going to look like in bloom next summer. 🥹

I’m in dahlia heaven! This is Lyn’s Brooke and she has been a favorite of mine since the first season I grew her.

This week most of my orange & peach stems will be going to Andi Thatcher but fear not! We have so much color for you in our market bouquets Green Thumb Garden Supply.

Lyn’s Brooke is also on the list for tuber sales in spring of 2027 if you want to grow your own! You’ll be able to find our tubers at Green Thumb Garden Supply in Belgrade, MT in March of 2027.

Happy Friday!! The flower stand at Green Thumb Garden Supply has been refilled and the bouquets are so good— lots of new faces including hydrangea, Shock-O-Lat sunflowers and more! $20 each available until 5pm today.

If you bought Castle Drive dahlia tubers from me this spring, I hope your plants are starting to explode with blooms!!

If you missed out on tubers this year, I will do another tuber sale in March 2027.

Until then, these beauties will be featured in “Bouquet of the Day” at Green Thumb Garden Supply throughout the remainder of the season.
