Went with my buddy Brett (Hebert's Saltwater Charters) this morning out of Lake Hermitage and fished near Barataria Bay. Ended up with 12 trout. All caught on Legion Lures Mad Shad in “Mardi Gras Mambo” and “Grasshopper” color under a Four Horsemen Tackle cork. Beautiful day on the water!

Couldn’t get much going in Myrtle Grove today. Water was very low and it was a little windy, but managed to catch 4 rat reds and 1 keeper (16 1/4”). 15 trout this morning in Myrtle Grove (main canal only). The weather and water (61 degrees today) is heating up, so the fish seem to be more scattered and starting to head further out.
