🪺🐰Happy OSTARA from HERB 'N STONES🍀🫖
Ostara marks the Spring Equinox, which happens between March 19 -23. Ostara is a pagan celebration of the German goddess Eostre. The 1st tale is of the hare that once was a bird with an injured wing. The Goddess Ostara knew it would never fly again, even if she healed it. So, she decided to transform it into a 4-legged animal, a hare. In return, the hare lays an egg for her every spring on her festive day.
As the beginning of spring Ostara is a good time to literally & figuratively plant seeds for the future. Plants you started during Ostara will be ready for harvest in the coming Sabbats like, Beltane, Litha & Lammas. Ostara is a good time to do that Spring Cleaning & freshen up your home.
