Let’s talk about another LOCAL author’s book! Below is the synopsis:

✨A hacker savant, too smart for his own good. A guilty assassin, looking for a purpose. An ex-paramedic, addicted to a high. A reckless bike racer, desperate for money.

These are the members of Dragon’s team, one of the best heist crews in North America.

Based in the city of Harmony, on the mighty Mississippi, they target corporations too big to notice them, or so they hope. With their skills and Dragon himself, they’ve successfully pulled off job after job, padding their pockets and creating a nice life for themselves in a world hell-bent on keeping people trapped in the status quo.

But when a job goes south, and the crew take their first serious casualty, they find themselves sucked into a web of secrets that none of them are prepared for. Scrambling for answers, each route they take seems to lead to a dead end, or hint at Dragon’s shrouded past. When an attack on his home life forces him to break his one rule, and reveal who he was to his crew, Dragon starts to realize that sometimes the only way to deal with your past, is to face it head on.

And he will be hanging out with us on the 19th, which is NEXT Saturday as our next author signing 💜 We hope yall can make it in to show him some love!!

If you know me (Amanda) you know I hate giving recommendations for books. I always worry that some one won’t like what I suggest so I never say anything. So instead of calling them recommendations, these are some of my recent obsessions 😉 (they do have spice, some more than others. Just a warning for those who aren’t into that sort of thing)

Literally 😩😩

I know there are several people out there who can just read a book and not die from the anxiety of a cliffhanger. I am not one of them. I try to pay attention and only read completed series… I have, in fact, read at least 2 incomplete and I haaaaaaaaaaaate waiting! 🤣🤣🤣

Are you like me or do you just read the books right away without it being completed ?

I can’t believe I’m really posting this! Equal parts excited and terrified honestly 😳. We have been so blessed with this whole journey of bringing our little bookstore to life. Now it’s time to feel “real” 🤣 we are going out, on our own, without all our friends inside the marketplace…yall.

THANK YOU!!! Thank you all so much for making this possible. To save you the googling, that address is currently the home of Candy Craze. She is changing directions with her business and didn’t need the huge space anymore.

We don’t know the exact date of the move, we just know it will be the first couple weeks of October. It’s such a whirlwind, November will be our one year in business. Like, WHAT?!?! You guys are the best! Thanks for letting us bring you joy through the books we find and the ones we order brand new. It’s been fun and we can’t wait to see what’s next!
