Dear Diary,
I am annoyed with my mom. I wanted to tell everyone about my big news but she kept forgetting to leave her phone here for me. So, here it is…I won best florist in the Centre County Favorites contest. Well, mom and all the neat people that help at the shop won. But, you and I know they would be nothing without good old Lucy bringing in the customers!! I really like all my friends who come to hang out with me all day but I get sick of Mom making them work with the flowers. She says they are really talented, I only know I like that I still manage to get a lot of attention! I know Mom and I love our customers and we appreciate them. We are really happy to know they cared enough to take the time to vote for us. There, I finally got to tell my news. I feel so loved!

We are also 9 years old today. Craig and I bought A Flower Basket nine years ago and we have loved every minute. We have the best customers and the community support is amazing. We are also blessed to have terrific people working here with us. It’s fun to come to work and we know that each person cares about the work they do, the customers and each other. Thank you to all who have supported us and helped to make my dream come true!!

Dear Diary,
The voting ends this Friday at noon for Best of State College. I am so hurt that there is not a “best mascot” or “best cat” category. I’m supposed to help remind people to vote and there is nothing in it for me. I’m the one who keeps this place going. I’m the one people come in here to see. Mom says I do benefit because I get attention and treats but let’s be real. It’s humans who need this kind of thing, I just know I am awesome!
Well, back to sleep…..
Please vote so my mom stops waking me up to make stupid posts!
