Nittany Laser Creations had talked about how much we missed Hurds Curds at the Troy Fair this year, so we were really excited when we found out they were here at Grange Fair! For lunch, we hit them up for their Dill Pickle Smash Burger, with fried dill pickles, super melty cheese, a perfectly smashed beef patty and a brioche roll. Oh yeah, it hit the spot!

Nittany Laser Creations has been waiting all week at Grange Fair for this meal! We got a pound of crab legs and a medium order of crawfish boil from Triple Seas! That's a good portion of shrimp, corn, kielbasa, baby potatoes, and of course, crawfish. All well seasoned and cooked perfectly, then topped with Cajun melted butter.

After that BIG breakfast from Schonwalder's, the Nittany Laser Creations gang wasn't all that hungry for lunch, so we opted for a piece of fresh, not too sweet, perfect crust, ho-made strawberry pie from Brodys At The Fair, and a thick, rich, full of veggies, Broccoli Cheddar soup from King's Coffee II. Both are located over on Sharer Ave. 😋

Another crazy breakfast creation from Schonwalder's on McCormick Ave! This "sandwich" has everything! A waffle for bread, dippy eggs, bacon, hollandaise sauce, and a touch of maple syrup. We couldn't actually pick it up and eat it, but the entire Nittany Laser Creations crew thought it was FANTASTIC! It doesn't have a name (We're voting for the "NLC Special"), and you won't find it on the menu... yet, but you CAN get all kinds of other deliciousness for breakfast, lunch, or dinner!

At Nittany Laser Creations, we LOVE our fairs, and our fair food favorites. And Grange Fair is one of the highest on the list. Places like Scott's Roasting, Sam's Hot Dogs, Twisted Whisk, Two Dippy Sisters, Triple Seas, and others make it one of the best fairs for food. BUT, while we have our favorites, we would love to try some "NEW" vendors and foods, so what new places have you discovered that we might have missed? And the winner IS... Fast, flavorful, tried, true, and delicious, a chili cheese dog with actual chili, from Gunzey's Hot Sausage! (And a cup of their cream of broccoli soup, but I already showed you a picture of that this week. 😉) The only downside is I'm here alone, which means I'll have to rely on the kindness of strangers to tell me if I fail to get all of the cheese out of my moustache. 😂
