As I’ve been working in the old cottage, getting everything ready for next month’s Grand Opening of Rose Cottage, I came across this card from my mother-in-law.

I’m sentimental by nature, so I’ve never been able to part with the cards and little treasures from her or from my Mom. But finding this particular card today felt especially meaningful.

To me, it feels like a little confirmation from above that turning her old home—and my old home—into Rose Cottage is exactly what I’m meant to do. 🤍

There’s something so special about giving new life to a place that holds so much history, love, and memories.

Today, my heart is feeling incredibly grateful and so very blessed. 🌹🤍

Norman Rockwell Museum Collectible Porcelain Coffee Cups, Gold Trim

Beautiful lot of 10 vintage Norman Rockwell Museum porcelain coffee mugs originally released in the 1980s. Perfect for collectors of classic Americana or anyone wanting a touch of nostalgia with their morning coffee!

Each mug features a distinct, highly detailed scene of iconic Norman Rockwell artwork on the front and a title description printed on the reverse side.

Quantity: Lot of 10

Material: Fine porcelain with beautiful 24K gold trim along the rims and down the handles

Makers Marks: Most mugs are stamped with the official "Norman Rockwell Museum Seal of Authenticity" on the bottom

Condition: Excellent vintage condition with the exception of The Cobbler {see last photo}. Otherwise no visible chips, cracks, or heavy crazing. The gold detailing remains bright and shiny.

Scenes Included in This Lot: "For A Good Boy" (Building a model ship), "Bedtime" (Mother reading to child)", The Music Master" (young boy playing flute for girlfriend and pet dog), “The Doll Doctor” , “The Lighthouse Keeper’s Daughter” (daughter mending jacket for her father, the lighthouse keeper)*I actually have two of these. “Memories”, The Cobbler”.

At first glance, you might think this is a piece of 1930𝓈 𝓅𝒾𝓃𝓀 𝒟ℯ𝓅𝓇ℯ𝓈𝓈𝒾ℴ𝓃 𝓰𝓁𝒶𝓈𝓈… but here’s the fun surprise—it isn’t!

This delicate tea cup was actually made in ℱ𝓇𝒶𝓃𝒸ℯ by 𝒜𝓇𝒸ℴ𝓇ℴ𝒸 in the 𝓂𝒾𝒹 1980’𝓈 . The company intentionally recreated the soft blush pink color and elegant geometric swirl patterns that made Depression glass so beloved decades earlier.

Without a little vintage sleuthing (and the internet!), most people would never know the difference. Isn’t that fascinating?
