Check out these Sabretooth 4-inch plugs in ultra-glow. They are a dull white/gray color when they come off the printer. These were sitting in the sun room under a shade cloth this afternoon - notice the distinct green glow from just sitting in indirect sun. In the dark they absolutely shine.

To be able to make these in glow I had to upgrade to a super-hard nozzle for my 3D printers. These plugs are total salmon slayers, with their swishing rattle noise and spook-walk swim action (they track perfectly and don't spin!). Adding the glow in the dark option is going to be a game changer for an already killer lure.

New for 2026 season - GLOW IN THE DARK lures from Brown Dog Fishing. Here's the first batch - Firefly 2-inch fishing plugs. They cost a little more - but wow --- did I say they glow in the dark? The colors - glow green, glow blue, glow yellow - are somewhat muted in daylight, and I can't really see much difference in the dark.

Just ask for Glow in the dark when you order.

It was a good Lingcod Opener. I closed my shop for a weekend and went on the annual Ling Cod opener with some close friends - we fished the Oregon side, Ocean side Jetty at the mouth of the Columbia river where it meets the ocean. We got to meet the Oregon patrol boat - everything was in order. I think they might resent WA residents fishing on the Oregon side ... there were many questions about whether we knew the limit. Our observation was "we're not over". That sent them on their way.

Fisher the dog had to line his toy up with the fish to be part of the game. You can see his feet in the picture on the left side. God bless fishing dogs. Tight lines all.
