I love getting customer fishing pictures. Here's one from this weekend..
"Took my son out today, launched out of Mukilteo and joined the hoard trolling south towards shipwreck. Caught the middle one in the pic after 15 minutes, 40 foot on the wire with a white Hoochie-Minnow. The bite slowed after that so we went over to Possession and the fish were pretty thick. Caught and released 2 nice wild coho and a handful of blackmouth. All around 44' on the wire in about 70 FOW. Ended up catching 2 more hatchery, one fat one that was full of herring! Used the Hoochie-Minnow and an Ace Hi Fly with your Minnow Hat all day. Anyway, appreciate the advice you gave me, and for making a great product!"

Achievement unlocked - New snap on action hat for Ace Hi Fly Needlefish. Anglers love the snap on action hat for Ace Hi Fly standard size. I've been asked "do you have an action hat for the Ace Hi Fly Needlefish?" I spent the morning perfecting and testing this one. Holds in place, and gives the ace hi fly a vigorous swimming action without the need to use a flasher or heavy leader materials.

Pictured here is Ace Hi Fly Needlefish Fly - UV Purple Spatterback. Notice how the fly just slips into the action hat and holds itself in place with a snap-on action. The recess is perfectly shaped - gently cradles the eyes and the body of the fly is snug up against the back of the action hat.

NEW PRODUCT ANNOUNCEMENT!
How many of you absolutely LOVE to fish with Stacking Bodies LLC Salmon Flys? Last year when I made the Ace-Hi-Fly minnow hat add-ons, people loved them (gives an Ace-Hi-Fly a swimming action), but I kept getting asked "Do you make them for Stacking Bodies Flies?".

The wait is over.

Stacking Bodies Minnow Hats are in test and will soon be available to add on to your Stacking Bodies salmon flys. All you do is snap the Minnow hat onto the Stacking Bodies salmon fly, and rig it up the normal way. What happens? Well, the fly starts to swim on its own and no longer requres a paddle flasher to give it some wiggle.

Here's a picture of a Hyper -Vis + enhanced Stacking Bodies Minnow Hat - I'll be posting a video of it swimming with no flasher this weekend.

Here's another option for a glow skirt for the Brown Dog Fishing hoochie minnow heads. These two pictures show the difference between rigging with a chatterbait skirt and a hoochie. Chatterbait skirts are usually used with bass lures - but they fits on the end of a Hoochie minnow perfectly, and has an amazing flare.

If you're only thinking of using hoochies on your hoochie-minnows, think about silicon chatterbait skirts also. I really like the flare, and the glow is pretty bright - this one is just on my table with no overhead lights and you can see the glow.
