Welp, it looks like we are going to be getting some good weather this week🌞😎! Hopefully you and your loved ones will be able to find the time to get out and enjoy it. Weather in Nebraska can be pretty sporadic so try to enjoy it while you can!

This week we will be offering complimentary donuts, muffins, and coffee at our store!

We are open from:
Tuesday: Noon-6:00 PM
Wednesday: Noon - 8:00 PM
Thursday: Noon -8:00 PM
Friday: Noon - 8:00 PM
Sunday: Noon - 5:00 PM
Monday: Closed

So while you're out and about, feel free to stop by, grab a snack, play some board games, pick up a book or two, and enjoy the atmosphere.

Happy Friday!

To all our book lovers, supporters, friends, and family in the community… remember being able to vote is a fundamental right and a cornerstone of our democracy. Regardless of your party affiliation or who you are deciding to vote for, we just encourage that you do so and exercise your rights and freedoms as American citizens. Every vote truly matters!

With that being said, we are happy to announce that our bookstore is playing a part in this election cycle! We are here to support the community by offering the following:

1. Ride Assistance to the Polls: If you or someone you know needs a ride to the polling station, we’ve got you covered!

2. Voter Education Hub: We are also offering resources to educate voters on how the voting process works along with other important information.

3. Meeting Place for Voter Support: Our bookstore is an official meeting point where people can gather for assistance and connect with others who want to be involved.

Feel free to stop by if you want to partake or have any questions during our adjusted business hours.

Monday-Friday: 9AM-8PM: For the services listed, rides, and questions.
Saturday: 10 AM-8PM: For questions and support.

Our sale of the week. 50 % off all merch! We are getting ready to roll out some cool new T-Shirt designs just in time for the holidays, so we are having a sale on our prototype read shirts. This sale will be going on until there are no more available or when Nike sends the cease and desist letter... whichever comes first 🤣. Thank you to everyone who stopped by this week or liked / shared our 50% off promotional sale! We will be closed tomorrow for store maintenance and meetings, but will be reopen for business Wednesday 10/23/24 from 10AM-8PM and the remainder of the week (normal business hours also)! Feel free to stop in for coffee and donuts. Also, be on the lookout for later in the week….we’ll be announcing some different sales going on as well that you won’t wanna miss. 😌

We truly appreciate the awards and the continued support from the community. Plus Fearless is out for some time getting some much needed R & R..... and when he’s out.... well.... Dear Friends,

I want to take a moment to personally thank you all for your continued support and love for our bookstore. It has been an absolute pleasure serving this amazing community.

With that said, I’ve decided to take some time off to rest, reflect, and recharge. During this period, Andile (best-smelling dude I know—pause) and the rest of the 2Dads team will be holding down the fort so I can enjoy some well-deserved relaxation.

Rest assured, I’ll still be around for all the major events!

Also…! I will continue to post books that I’m reading as well as review them. I know I haven’t done this in a little bit, but I promise I’ll catch you up. 

Now, for a little fun: Community Homework Assignment #1—when you see Andile, ask him what cologne he’s wearing. Don’t leave the store until he tells you. Write it down, then contact me immediately. GO!

We can’t believe it’s already been one year! It’s been such a pleasure being part of this community, building relationships, and growing the bookstore. We’ve loved serving the youth, local authors, and fellow small business owners.

As some of you know, Dad #2 has been spending the summer in Hawaii visiting family (daughters aren’t cheap 😅). Now, as we gear up for fall, we’re ready to kick things up a notch and bring you even more unforgettable experiences at 2Dads HQ!

To the left is Garrett Sims, the esteemed interviewer, Bellevue Ambassador, and community champion. His impactful article resonated with over 300k individuals, igniting a wave of enthusiasm. I was delighted by his unexpected visit to deliver the extraordinary news! To my right is the incomparable Ms. Anya Smith, a passionate reader, skilled knitter, and innovative popcorn technician. Anya has been an integral force since our inception. It's an honor to share this achievement with her. From everyone at 2Dads and a bookstore, we express our heartfelt gratitude!
