Our Story Our Mission
The Thrift Shop Supports Saint Margaret’s Parish by being the primary means of generating financial resources for the Church’s “Faith In Action” Outreach Ministry.
We accomplish our mission while acting as responsible stewards through the donation and the recycling of donated items. It is critical to performing the mission that we provide fellowship and care to those we serve.
St. Margaret's Thrift Shop gives all of the profits to the community after paying our expenses. The Shop is run with volunteers both from the church and the community. Many have been volunteering at the shop for years and years. Besides wholly supporting Saint Margaret’s “Faith in Action” on sales of donated items, we donating to various agencies. We support Good Will, Bridge Ministries, Congregations for the Homeless Men's shelters, women’s shelters, The Humane Society, Lion's Club, and others in need in the community. We welcome donations of gently used clothing and household goods, including small furniture. Our donations trailer is open whenever the shop is open. We appreciate your support; it helps us to help others less fortunate.
