Hi everyone! I wanted to take a moment to clear up any confusion about the new **SCI-FI OMAHA** profile image.

**First and most importantly — don’t be alarmed! There are NO changes coming to the Midwest Collectible Toy Show.** The Toy Show name, identity, and the event you’ve supported for the past 10 years are not going anywhere.

Brandon Strain and I have actually operated as **SCI-FI OMAHA since 2016**. We simply never heavily promoted the Sci-Fi Omaha name as the organization behind the Midwest Collectible Toy Show and the other community events we’ve been involved with over the years. Our email and domain have also carried the Sci-Fi Omaha name from the beginning.

As I approach retirement, I’ve been thinking a lot about the future and where I want to focus my time and energy. As part of that next chapter, **Sci-Fi Omaha will begin taking a more visible role as the organizer and producer behind the Midwest Collectible Toy Show, while also expanding into other pop-culture and community events throughout the Omaha area.**

Sci-Fi Omaha is about bringing together fans, collectors, vendors, creators, community organizations, and pop-culture enthusiasts through fun and engaging events and experiences.

From collectible shows to special fan-focused events, we want to continue celebrating the people, hobbies, characters, stories, and communities that make pop culture so much fun.

Our goal is really pretty simple: **create welcoming events where people can discover something new, reconnect with something they love, and share that experience with others.**

Our new Sci-Fi Omaha website is currently in development, and I’m looking forward to sharing more as everything comes together.

Most importantly, **THANK YOU.**

The past 10 years have been an incredibly humbling experience. What started with just a few vendors inside a roughly **5,000-square-foot facility** has grown into the Midwest Collectible Toy Show you know today, now filling approximately **24,000 square feet**.

That growth didn't happen because of a logo or a name. It happened because of **you** — our vendors, collectors, shoppers, families, community partners, friends, and everyone who has supported us along the way.

I appreciate all of you more than you know, and I'm excited about what comes next.

Here is an image of the HUGE chocolate chip cookie made specially for me by food vendor “Jam & Butter Micro Bakery” in recognition of the show’s 10-year anniversary. Bakery owners Jen and Chad formerly sold collectible toys at many previous shows and are great friends. Not only is this cookie a work of art, it is delicious! I would like to express my heartfelt thanks to Jen and Chad.

The Midwest Collectible Toy Show is officially wrapped, and we are beyond grateful for the amazing turnout, energy, and support our 10-year Anniversary show!

To the thousands of shoppers who came out to hunt for treasures, support our collective of vendors, and spend the day shopping for collectibles, toys, comics, games, and antiques — thank you!

A huge shoutout to our tremendous vendors — your passion, creativity, and variety brought this event to life!

🙏 Special thanks to the staff at the Lied Activity Center, and the behind-the-scenes volunteers who helped with pre show setup on Friday and throughout today’s show.

We also recognize members of the Ghostbusters: Nebraska Division, as well as the 501st Legion Central Garrison, for interacting with show attendees and posing for photos.
