I’m feeling so grateful for all the couples who trust me to create florals for their wedding. When I tell people what I do for work, I often hear comments like it must be so stressful to work with brides, but honestly I have the sweetest, most thoughtful couples. To be part of these special celebrations just doesn’t get old for me!

I celebrated my birthday this weekend by creating this muted and colorful design for a lovely celebration. Little kid Laura would be so thrilled to know she would grow up and be able to make a living by creating custom living art!

We had so much fun creating the florals for this wedding on July 4th. We have done florals here several times, but I actually stayed the night this time with my family and enjoyed the fireworks, beach walks, s’mores at the bonfires, the pool and more with my family. Can’t wait to be back in a few weeks for another beautiful wedding!

This stunning wedding for a book-loving couple with a Lord of the Rings-esque & wildflower vision for their wedding at the absolutely magical .estate

It was a warm one this past weekend with a heat advisory and I would lying if I didn’t say that there delicate wildflowers weren’t stressing me out a little but and her team were keeping calm and taking care of business and served up their magic for this delightful event.

This citrus inspired reception design with all the vibrant colors made my jumbo centerpiece dreams come true. My favorite part was how the timing worked out to include some mock orange flowers and lemon verbena for a subtle themed fragrance. I am grateful for all the hands and talented souls who were part of making it happen.

WORKSHOP: This will be a pretty full year for wedding and event floral work for me, but I wanted to make space to open my studio for a floral design workshop. I have a few spots left for a centerpiece design workshop coming up this Friday evening from 6-8pm. We will be using so many lovely spring florals and creating centerpieces that you can take home and enjoy for your family gatherings!
