Some of you have been asking what is different about the Travel T-Shirt this year and I am so glad you asked because I have a lot to say about it!

The original Travel T-Shirt fabric versus the two new ones we launched this spring, why we chose them, and the part about where the Sea-Renity fabric actually comes from that genuinely surprises everyone.

Watch the full reel for the full nerdy explanation! (I love materials).

And if you have already been wearing the new one, I would love to know which fabric you went with. Drop it in the comments!

Link in bio to shop both versions.

The length was non-negotiable from the start.

We knew exactly what we wanted it to do. Breezy, modern, covers the belly button with your arms at rest and when you are leaning forward on your bike, but still has that fun cropped-like feel that makes you want to wear it literally everywhere. That very specific sweet spot was the goal from the start and we nailed it!

Too long and it loses the whole thing that makes it special. Too short and it stops working for real life. Where does it need to land to feel right on the most people on the most days? And this is where we ended up and I am really proud of it.

Here is the thing though. Most people absolutely love it and some people don't! And honestly that is okay with me because you are not making anything interesting if everyone has the exact same reaction to it. A little bit of controversy means you actually made a decision instead of designing something safe and forgettable.

We also launched it in two fabrics because I could not choose just one, and five colors because we have not had color like this in years and I was not holding back. Sea-Renity bionic nylon for warm technical days and merino wool for the mornings that still can not decide what season they are.

Who loves it?! Tell me in the comments! And link in bio if you have not seen it yet.

Okay so these past few weeks have been a lot, in the best way but also just genuinely a lot.

I've been the one modeling the gear, running to the post office, inspecting fabric samples, answering emails between school pickups, packing orders on the living room floor, traveling for business, setting up at events, and then doing it all over again the next day. Oh and we just launched the Travel T-Shirt spring collection which has honestly been years in the making and I am so proud of how it turned out! This is what running a small business that you actually love looks like and I would not trade it, but I also will not pretend it is always graceful!

There is no version of Alpine Fit that exists without all of these moving parts happening at the same time. The behind the scenes is messy and full and real and I think that is the part I am most proud of. We are not a big operation. We are a small team of people who care a lot, building something we genuinely believe in, one long day at a time.

If you have ever wondered what it looks like behind the feed, well, this is it. All of it, all at once, all the time! And if you have not seen the new Travel T-Shirt yet, it is at the link in bio and the new colors are so worth a look.

Thank you for being here and for supporting something that is made with this much love and this much chaos.

I've been reading your messages and I genuinely cannot keep these to myself.

When we designed the Backpacker Barrel Leg, I knew exactly what I wanted it to do and how I wanted it to feel on a real day outside. And reading what you have been sending in and leaving in reviews this week, you are describing exactly that. Word for word, the things we worked so hard to get right. That does not happen by accident and it means everything to me to hear it.

This is why we do this. Not just to make gear but to make gear that actually shows up for you on the trail, on the hike, on the day that turned into something more than you planned for. Reading your messages this week has been such a full heart warming experience for me and our whole small team.

If you have the Backpacker Barrel Leg, thank you for taking them out into your adventures and for taking the time to tell us about it. And if you have been on the fence, come read what people are saying at the link in bio. I think it will tell you everything you need to know.

So much love and appreciation for this community.

Wearing the Travel T during Travel T launch week while traveling in Alaska. Perfection. ☺️

I am up in Fairbanks for some family time and obviously I could not be here without getting out on the trails for a bit. Wearing the new Travel T-Shirt in clay and it is such a good color for spring. This fabric has been part of Alpine Fit’s story since the very beginning and getting to finally wear it on a trail run in the state where this brand was born feels really full circle and really good.

Thank you so much to everyone who has already shopped the Travel T-Shirt launch this week! Seeing the familiar Alaska names come through alongside so many new names from communities across the country genuinely made my whole week. I appreciate every single one of you.

The Sea-Renity fabric has a whole backstory of being an original fabric I wanted in the collection from the start. And the merino wool version is just as special in a completely different way. If you have not checked them out yet, both are at the link in bio and I really think these could be your easy fast favorite shirt if you give them a try.

Also, there is a sneak peek in this reel of something else coming soon. 👀 Stay tuned!

Hope you all have the best spring and summer full of adventures ahead. Thanks for being a part of these adventures in outdoor gear making!

We know you’ve been waiting for this!

The Travel T-Shirt is officially here and this spring we went all in on color. Five new colors and I have been wearing them on repeat since they arrived. We have not had bright, beautiful color like this in years and it feels so good to finally have it in the collection!

We also launched it in two fabrics because I genuinely could not pick just one. The bionic nylon version is made from a collagen-rich recycled marine material, yes from actual fish scales as the source, a biproduct of food production, and the feel of it is something I have been chasing since the very early days of Alpine Fit. We did a tiny limited run with this fabric at the very beginning and it was so loved, but we just could not get enough of it as a small brand. It has taken years to bring it back in the right way and this is that moment. Silky, odor resistant, UPF sun coverage, and truly one of my favorite fabrics we have ever worked with.

The merino wool version is a super luxurious look and feel with all the built in temperature regulation, breathability and odor resistance you know and love from this miraculous fiber.

Both are lightweight, versatile, and designed for days you do it all and need that one shirt the feels right no matter what. Trail, travel, errands, all of it.

Link in bio, go take a look!

Been wearing this fabric for a few weeks now and I have been waiting years to bring it into the collection in the right way. This is that moment!

Bestselling silhouette, new fabrics, five new gorgeous colors we have not had anything close to in years. The bionic nylon fabric we are launching it in is one I started working on from the very beginning of Alpine Fit. We did a very limited run with it early on and it was so well loved, but as a small brand we just could not get enough of it to commit. We have been growing, we have been patient, and now the timing is finally right and I am so excited about it.

The fabric itself is something special. It comes from a collagen-rich recycled marine material and the feel of it on your skin is honestly surprising even to me, and I know this fabric well. Smooth, silky, and it just moves with you in a way that is really hard to explain until you put it on.

Wednesday May 27th. Mark it. This one has been a long time coming and I cannot wait to share all of it with you!

The thing nobody ever asks about when shopping for base layers is seam placement. And I get it, it's not exactly a glamorous selling point. But after years of wearing gear on long days outside, I can tell you that a seam sitting in the wrong spot is the thing you notice on mile 6 when you're too far in to do anything about it.

Every seam in our pieces is placed deliberately. Where your pack sits. Where your arm swings. Where your waistband meets your hip. We think about all of it before anything goes into production because that's the kind of detail that doesn't show up in a product photo but absolutely shows up on the trail.

It's one of those things I care deeply about and honestly love nerding out on. The details that are invisible when they're right and impossible to ignore when they're not.

That's what we're building here. Come take a look at the link in bio if you want to see what we've been working on.

When gear stops being the thing you're thinking about, that's when you know it's working.

I've tested a lot of pieces over the years and there's always this specific moment during a ride or a run or a long day outside where I just stop noticing what I'm wearing. That's the one I'm looking for every single time we're developing something. And the Rendezvous Ridge Long Sleeve is that piece for me. It moves with you, stays fresh on multi-day use, and just quietly handles whatever the day turns into without asking anything from you. That's exactly what we built it to do.

Seeing it out there on the bike like this makes me really happy. This is what it's made for.

If you want to try it for yourself, it's at the link in bio!

A little reminder before this wraps up today! There are quite a few good things happening on the site right now :)

We’re running bundles and sale items through May 19th as part of Small Business Sales Week alongside 90+ other small outdoor brands, which is so special to be part of.

You can also use code SBSW2026 for an extra 10% off select styles, and we added a few other little surprises around the site that are worth checking out when you have a minute.

This week means a lot to us because every order you place with us directly supports a small, women-led business that has been built piece by piece over the years in Alaska and now the PNW. We spend a lot of time thinking about how these products actually function in real life, from travel days to trail time to everyday layering, and it never stops being meaningful seeing people continue to bring Alpine Fit along with them into those parts of life.

If you’ve been waiting on something, today is the last day before everything wraps up.

Thanks to for organizing, links to the brand directory and Alpine Fit deals in our bio.
