Slider chest construction is in progress and we’re building two sets! One for Lutheran Church of Hope in Broomfield, CO, and one for Bethany Lutheran Church in Naperville, IL.
Plans are officially coming to life in our shop!

St. John’s Northwestern Academies

Through the generosity of an alum, the pipe organ in the chapel at this private academy in the far western suburb of Milwaukee, Delafield, brought their 1927 Welte-Mignon organ (Opus 232) back to life. Berghaus salvaged the pipework and console shell, and updated the insides of the organ in the chambers on either side of the altar. Completed in January, 2026, the project brought the previously silenced instrument into glorious sound!

At the beginning of March, we wrapped up our shop work for St. John’s Lutheran Church in Chaska, MN. We filled a truck with the organ parts and ventured out one day late due to a snowstorm on March 17.

Enjoy these photos of our installation of the newest Berghaus instrument in Chaska! The two-manual organ will have 26 ranks and 1552 pipes when it is completed.
