We stole away to the beach after the Belmont NC Farmers Market yesterday. So thankful for the market goodies I ended the day with: delicious and gorgeous charcuterie from Prickly Pine Provisions, gurrrl, that candied orange was such a nice touch in there. Spicy feta from Carthage Fresh, so spicy, so good. The first freestone peaches of the season were ripe and ready at McLeod Farms on our way down(we stop there coming and going every year). I've already eaten 3 peaches, they are so good. And of course sourdough from Tanya Beauvais.

Don't worry, we'll be back in a few days to start prepping next week's sourdoughs. But for now, I'm gonna enjoy being lazy for a couple of days.

We are in the park today with Belmont NC Farmers Market! Its a gorgeous cool morning stop by and grab your carbs from your local gluten dealer. We've got breads and bagels and a few treats today. Lots of other marketeers here today. See you soon!

We specialize in sourdough and try to keep it interesting by offering seasonal varieties alongside our standards offered every week. I get alot of questions about sourdough and felt like this soundbite from Dan Gubler, Ph.D. was perfect to explain the various heath benefits and some of the science as well.

I've been making bread professionally for over 15 years and have made thousands upon thousands of loaves. My sourdough mother(my starter) is also over 15 years old. Bread is my chosen field of study for the last two decades. I am deeply rooted in all things bread. I take great pride in providing a healthy, sustainable bread that feeds and nourishes.

You can find us this weekend at the Bread Studio on Saturday and in Stowe Park on Sunday!

We've been selling most of our bread selections before 1pm so you'll want to get there early or preorder for Saturday pickup up.
