𝙏𝒓𝙚𝒆 𝑭𝙧𝒂𝙢𝒆

Northern New England is supposed to be in “stick season” right now. You know, the period between the end of fall foliage and the beginning of snow season when the trees are completely barren. Well, somebody forgot to tell the Old Round Church in Richmond, Vermont. I was there with a good friend a few days ago and the trees in front of the church were still clinging to most of their leaves.

I took this photo during the golden hour just before sunset when the sun turned the deep orange leaves on the stubborn trees to gold. I used a low-flying drone to get a bit higher than my tripod could reach, compositing the two bigger trees to frame the historic 1812 church with its sixteen sides.
