Youth deer season kicks off this Thursday, Oct. 17!

Are your kids prepared? Here's a breakdown of the regulations:

👨‍👧 Youth ages 10 to 17 may participate. Youth ages 10 to 13 must be accompanied by an adult parent/guardian/mentor 18 or older.

📜 Participating youth must possess a valid youth fi****ms deer license. Youth age 10, 11, and 12 must possess a free license (available online, by phone, or through local license retailers). Youth age 12 and older must also have a fi****ms safety certificate (also called hunter education) or apprentice hunter validation.

🦌 The youth fi****ms deer license is valid for the youth season AND regular fi****ms deer seasons. If they don't get a deer this week, they can try again in November!

☝️ The bag limit is one deer of either s*x (except in buck-only areas). Deer permit area restrictions apply: mndnr.gov/hunting/deer/map.html. One youth license = one deer.

🔶 Blaze orange/pink requirements apply to all hunters, trappers and adult mentors during this season.

Thursday 9/26 and Friday 9/27 we will be open regular hours 6:30am-6pm!

Thank you to everyone that has reached out, we appreciate you! Justin is doing good...in his absence you will see some familiar faces! Thank you for your continued support!

Another update to our hours for today! We will be open regular hours 6:30am-6pm!

We are still accepting bows for repairs/maintenance, but it will take a little longer than usual as Justin is our only repair tech and he is still in the hospital. We hope to have him home sometime on Friday, but the healing process may take a while!

We apologize for the inconvenience, unfortunately we have to shorten our daily hours this week and play it by ear. Justin is in the hospital and we don't know when he will be out. He is ok, just fighting a tooth infection!

Tuesday 9/24 - Closed after 3pm
Wednesday 9/25 - Open 6:30am-2pm

We will continue to update our hours as we know more about how Justin is doing and if we can get coverage from our family and staff. Thank you for your understanding!

Well opening night and the hunt is over for jax. We were only in the stand 10 min and his first bear walked in to the bait . Not the biggest bear in the woods but a trophy non the less. I am so proud of him he made a perfect shot and The words out of his mouth i smoked it!!! I am so happy to be a part of his outdoor adventures
