As part of tonight's event, we have some special Hobbit and Lord of the Ring themed drinks that will be available for special purchase courtesy of The Bubbly Babe! They will be brewing up delicious concoctions as part of tonight's 6:00 p.m. The Hobbit Prerelease event!

Today is the day! We are so excited to see you as early as 12:00 p.m. noon today as we open our doors and begin a new adventure with Magic: The Gathering The Hobbit, including three Prerelease events hosted over the weekend. Our first event tonight is at 6 PM, two and will be our first foray into the Shadow and smoke of Mount Doom!

Here is one of three legendary lost elvish blades, Sting, that ACG has reimagined and will offer as part of prizing for Saturday morning and afternoon events. These replica blades will be one by the player er with the highest win percentage at the end of the event, and in the case of the two-headed giant event tomorrow afternoon/evening, both players on the team will win their own blade!

We have also forged replica One Rings that one will be awarded to any player who attends two or more of our Pre release events.

... an in progress shot from earlier today! What are you looking at? This is a life-sized prop/replica of the legendary lost sword Sting-- soon to be a prize awarded to the top place finisher of our Saturday 11AM event!

Then, later in the day at 4 PM, we will host a two-headed giant event in which the top team will be awarded two additional blades, one for each player on the team!

Events kick off tomorrow with our first sealed deck/limited event at 6 PM. We open at noon like always, and all The Hobbit products will be available for early WPN store purchase!

Magic the Gathering The Hobbit Prerelease is just a few days away, and here are some of the exciting promos and promotional items are set to be part of the upcoming season of organized play at Accidentally Cool Games!

Can you spot the physical mementos that we've created to add to the excitement and rewards of this upcoming weekends events!? Is that the long lost legendary blade, Sting? Can you see the One Ring?

ACG used our 3D printers and and is next to employ our painting experience in bringing these items to life as rewards that you can win starting this Friday at 6 PM!

Join us, as soon we are to embark on an uncertain adventure, calling upon both brave and unlikely heroes to answer the call! Magic: The Gathering celebrates its newest chapter in The Hobbit Prerelease Events—hosted at Accidentally Cool Games!

Offered in three different events spread across August 7th & 8th, ACG welcomes you to the table to showcase your wit and prowess against fellow MTG players in fun and friendly bouts of Magic!

Friday Night @ 6PM is our traditional "Sealed Deck/Limited" experience. We will be serving pizza as a delicious treat after Round 1.

Saturday Morning @ 11AM, our thoughts drift to comfort, hearth, home... and destiny. Also seated as a "Sealed Deck/Limited" experience, this morning we are serving "One Ring" Donuts (social media reveals to come!), Gollum's Brew Coffee, and Shire Green Tea. The player with the highest win % of this event will win a special blade, an ACG momento (reveal posts to come!)

Saturday Afternoon @ 4PM and now we hear the giants rumbling over the mountainside! It's time for Two-Headed Giant battles! Team up with a fellow player (you may choose your partner ahead of time, but we also pair people up as needed) and player against other Two-Headed Giants! The team that comes in 1st Place will win individual (both players) similar copies of the blade offered in this morning's earlier event.

Happy Friday Everyone!

Just giving an update on some things with the store and upcoming events!

Firstly, we would like to thank all of our patrons for putting up with some uncomfortable temperatures over the past few weeks during our events. We are absolutely happy to announced we have a new/repaired roof done by Genuine Roofing which is spectacular, as well as our Air Conditioning back up and running!

Second, for Magic: The Gathering fans, we have the Prerelease for The Hobbit around the corner, with three events over two days, as well as the usual amounts of Collector Packs, Play Booster Packs, Draft Night and More! As well as having regular releases of new products and restocks every week; Attack of the Vine from Disney's Lorcana releasing today, as well as the fifth Mega Evolution Release from Pokémon TCG; Pitch Black.
