Today is MARKET DAY AND GRACIE LOU IS 14 YEARS OLD! 🎂🐶

Authorities have confirmed that Gracie Lou has officially entered her “I’m 14, I deserve everything” era.

Her demands are simple:

🐾 Treats
🐾 More treats
🐾 Possibly a cheeseburger
🐾 Someone to tell her she’s beautiful
🐾 And YOU buying her pet balm.

She has apparently reviewed the household budget and determined that MORE PET BALM SALES = MORE BIRTHDAY TREATS.

🚨 HALFWAY ALERT! 🚨

Can you believe this Saturday is Market #10 of the 2026 season? 😲 That means we're officially at the halfway point! Where did the summer go? We swear it was just yesterday we were wondering if we'd ever stop wearing sweatshirts.

While most people have been relaxing this week... we've been in a committed relationship with cucumbers. 🥒❤️

In just the last 3 days we've canned:
🥒 120+ pounds of pickles
🫘 20 pounds of dilly beans (which somehow magically became 38 pints!)
🌶️ Fresh salsa
🥒 Relish
🍓 Piles of jam and jelly

And for those of you keeping score at home...

🥒 We're closing in on 500 POUNDS of cucumbers turned into pickles this season! 🤯

Meanwhile, Angie has apparently decided sleep is optional. 😆 She's been busy distilling fresh hydrosols, making shampoo and conditioner bars, whipping up more magnesium butter, and dreaming up all kinds of crazy, unique creations that somehow turn into everyone's new favorite product. We never know what she'll come up with next... but it's almost guaranteed to be awesome!

At this point, we smell like vinegar, essential oils, and a hint of "what's Angie making now?" The neighbors probably just refers to us as "The Pickle People with the Weirdly Amazing Stuff".

Beets!

We are currently working on pickled beets, should have some for market at on Saturday. We also have more cukes and going to try and get those ready for market on Saturday.

Garlic scapes!
The very short growing season of scapes has begun and we are pickling up a bunch of them. These are limited and once they are gone, they are done u til next year!

If you are looking for scapes be sure to get some from Merry Gardens Farm, they will have some at the market this week I’m sure! That’s where we got ours from!
