The newest Sandbox Ceramics collection is here, and I love how much color it brings to the shop. 💚

On Friday, my husband and I drove to St. Helens to pick it up and meet the artisan behind the work, which made this delivery feel even more special.

Handmade in Oregon, gorgeous, useful, and honestly a little bit of eye candy for the kitchen.

Sunday Letters & Sips.❤️

An invitation to slow down for a Sunday morning, choose a beautiful card or paper from the shop, enjoy a cup of coffee poured by local roaster Overstory, and take a moment to write a real letter — to a friend, a grandparent, someone you’ve been meaning to reach out to, or a new pen pal through the Sunday Letter Project.
We’ll provide the pens, a place to settle in, and the ambiance.

I love hearing which ones people love, which ones surprise them, and finding a new favorite along the way.

We absolutely adore Elyse Kopecky and what she’s created with Superhero Muffins. We’re so honored to carry the mixes at Iris & Stout, and Apple Cinnamon has definitely become one of our favorites.❤️

They make such a good little gift — for a friend, a host, a new mom, or honestly, for yourself.

Add a jar of JEM Organics almond butter and a few beautiful things for the kitchen, and breakfast is looking pretty good.

These are the pieces we use in our own kitchen: a Sandbox Ceramics soap holder, Marius Fabre soap, and an Iris Hantverk dish brush. Simple, practical tools that make an ordinary task feel a little more special.

There is something so special about seeing those first envelopes arrive — little notes sent out into the world, and the beginning of a new connection.
We were so excited to receive our first introductory letters through the Sunday Letter Project. Opening a handwritten letter from someone in another part of the world and learning a little about their life, what they love, and where they live feels incredibly special.
As a Sunday Letter Keeper, Iris & Stout is now part of a worldwide network of participating shops. You can choose any Sunday Letter Keeper around the world and send them an introductory letter.
If you’ve been thinking about finding a pen pal, come by the shop. We’d love to help you sign up, choose a letter to respond to, or find beautiful paper for writing your own introduction.

Flamingo Estate was part of the shop from the very beginning. As Iris & Stout has grown more fully into itself, it felt only fitting to welcome the collection back—lush, generous, and filled with the pleasures of the garden, table, bath, and home.
I’m not sure whether it was the familiar allure of ripe tomato leaves, the dreamy new Prinsesstårta scent, or the delicious olive oil that made this an easy yes—but we’re so happy it’s here.

Many people ask if I’ve traveled to all the places where the products in the shop are made. I always say — that is the dream.

For now, I love being able to bring a little taste of travel home through the things we carry at Iris & Stout — pieces that hint at a place, a feeling, a meal, or a memory, until I’m able to visit these magical places in person.
