There’s something beautiful about the ritual of cleaning especially when the everyday tools are made with care and lovely enough to leave out. ❤️
These are the pieces we use in our own kitchen: a Sandbox Ceramics soap holder, Marius Fabre soap, and an Iris Hantverk dish brush. Simple, practical tools that make an ordinary task feel a little more special.

There is something so special about seeing those first envelopes arrive — little notes sent out into the world, and the beginning of a new connection.
We were so excited to receive our first introductory letters through the Sunday Letter Project. Opening a handwritten letter from someone in another part of the world and learning a little about their life, what they love, and where they live feels incredibly special.
As a Sunday Letter Keeper, Iris & Stout is now part of a worldwide network of participating shops. You can choose any Sunday Letter Keeper around the world and send them an introductory letter.
If you’ve been thinking about finding a pen pal, come by the shop. We’d love to help you sign up, choose a letter to respond to, or find beautiful paper for writing your own introduction.

Flamingo Estate was part of the shop from the very beginning. As Iris & Stout has grown more fully into itself, it felt only fitting to welcome the collection back—lush, generous, and filled with the pleasures of the garden, table, bath, and home.
I’m not sure whether it was the familiar allure of ripe tomato leaves, the dreamy new Prinsesstårta scent, or the delicious olive oil that made this an easy yes—but we’re so happy it’s here.

Many people ask if I’ve traveled to all the places where the products in the shop are made. I always say — that is the dream.

For now, I love being able to bring a little taste of travel home through the things we carry at Iris & Stout — pieces that hint at a place, a feeling, a meal, or a memory, until I’m able to visit these magical places in person.

Iris & Stout is now part of the Sunday Letter Project, and it feels like such a lovely fit for the shop.

We’ve always adored the beauty of handwritten notes, good paper, and the small rituals that help us stay connected. This project feels like a lovely invitation to slow down, put pen to paper, and connect with new pen pals around the world.

How fun would it be to discover new favorite foods, local travel recommendations, favorite books to read, and the little things people love most about where they live?

I’ve been so excited for this arrival.❤️
I’ve admired for quite some time, and even reached out before they began offering their work to retailers. So to finally have these little bottles of poetry here at Iris & Stout feels especially meaningful and well worth the wait!

Poems for every ailment, each bottle is filled with capsules containing custom poetic extracts on recycled paper — poetic remedies to lift the spirits.
No bitter pills.
No adverse reactions.
Not to be swallowed, except metaphorically.

They’re clever, charming, comforting, and a little bit magical. The nurse in me can’t help but love the idea of “administering” a pill with no side effects.
