“What do you all do with all your time off?” Well… believe it or not, we all have lives outside the nursery. 🤣 But, even during our down time, we like to get together and have fun! Last week a group of us did a Madras & Terrebonne nursery hop because we never have time to visit other nurseries when we’re working all the time! 😉 We visited Madras Garden Depot, Martin’s, Mike’s Tree Farm & Nursery, Firefly Fields NW, and We’ll Rooted Produce U-Pick & Farmstand. Everywhere we went we found something interesting, beautiful and fun! Oh, and lunch at Brand 44* N was fun and delicious too!!
What’s our next adventure? I’ll keep you posted! 🥰

Saturday is our FINAL DAY for the 2026 season! That means FREE plants!

Snowbound Spirea is a gorgeous, zone 3 shrub (that’s -50*!) that looks exactly like its name when it blooms. The branches appear to be weighted down with mounds of snow, which are actually white blooms. It loves sunshine and will grow 4-5’tall and 3-4’ wide. We have several 1 gallon pots that are just about to bloom for just $9.00 each after the 40% discount! You sure can’t beat that! Have you visited our display garden recently? You may need to skirt around a few sunflowers growing in the center of the path, but it is well worth the visit to see what some of the plants you want to purchase look like when fully established!
Take the wooden bridge across the creek and enjoy the blooms. Cross back over the creek and visit with the chickens. 🐓 And when you need a break, find the hidden bench under the lush canopy of the curly willow for a quiet moment! 🤫

Plan ahead for next year’s blooms! Photo #1 is here at the farm today. These plants are bloomed out now, but next spring and summer you’ll have a riot of color, so I have also shown photos of what they look like in full bloom so you can plan ahead! Pictured are Creeping Phlox (assorted colors - photo 2), Soapwort (photo 3), Snow in Summer (photo 4) & Rock Cress (photo 5). We have Raspberry shortcake & Caroline Raspberries, and Baby Cakes Blackberries! All zone 4! They won’t last long, so if you’re thinking about planting berries, now is the time!!

We have 2 varieties left and they are in large, 4-gallon pots so they have well established root systems!
*JAVE RED (photo 1 & 3) has beautiful deep green leaves that are topped with rosy pink-red blooms that hummingbirds love in late spring-early summer. Java grows 4-6’ tall and wide, and is hardy to a zone 4!
CZECHMARK TRILOGY (photo 2 & 4) blooms with an abundance of white, pink and red all on the same shrub! This zone 4 weigelia grows to just 3-3.5’ tall and wide, so it can fit into more compact areas.
Both of these plants (and ALL of our shrubs and perennials) are 40% off right now, making them just $24 for a 4 gallon plant! 😳 You just can’t beat that!
