Woo hoo! Linda Foster’s beautiful stained glass suncatcher, “Tulip,” has found its new home.

There’s just something special about stained glass in the light, and this piece clearly knew how to get itself noticed. Congratulations to Linda and to the lucky customer who gets to enjoy those tulips every day, no watering required. Practical. Pretty. My kind of flower.

There’s something extra special about art that’s not only beautiful, but actually useful. ☕️📖❤️

This week’s Mary’s Pick is Elaine O’Hanlon’s gorgeous Book Valet, created with her beautiful marquetry-style woodworking. I fell in love with these the minute Elaine brought them into the gallery.

The different tones and grains of the wood become part of the artwork itself, but what really gets me is the function. Prop up a favorite book, add a cup of coffee, and suddenly a quiet morning feels just a little more luxurious. ☕️📚

Beautiful + functional = my kind of art. And Elaine has absolutely nailed both. ❤️

🌵 MARY’S PICK: Detra Morgan’s Teeny-Tiny Beaded Magnets

This week I couldn’t pick just ONE!

Detra Morgan’s adorable little beaded cactus, flower and bamboo magnets are tiny works of art packed with color, sparkle and an impressive amount of detail.

And for those of us blessed with a decidedly brown thumb, they may be the perfect houseplants. 😂 No water. No sunlight. No guilt.

But my favorite little detail? The tiny “Made With Love” charm Detra adds to many of them. ❤️
