A piece of Bennington history now on display downtown from the Bennington Museum.

Charles Dewey made a 3 pounder replica cannon and carriage for the museum in 2018. It's been on display in our Battle of Bennington exhibit ever since with one of the original cannon captured at the Battle by Patriot forces. This year, we're featuring the Battle of Bennington in the gallery next to the museum store, and the replica cannon will be part of a display downtown.

Stop and say hello, and then come up to the museum and see the original. We reopen April 2.

Tonight’s the night!
Jays Art Shop & Frame Gallery + Cards and Gifts and Bennington Artisan Market (B.A.M.) are excited to host Bennington College’s Sculpture students as they bring their exhibition, Cover-Up, into downtown Bennington.

Opening Reception
📅 Tonight — Tuesday, Dec. 9
⏰ 6–9 p.m.
📍 Jay’s Art Shop, 113-115 South Street

If you can’t make it this evening, the exhibition will also be available to view Wednesday and Thursday during store hours. Stop in and experience the students’ work throughout the space.

This collaboration brings fresh creative energy to South Street and offers a great opportunity for the campus and community to come together.
