This week's Global Design Project Challenge from Stampin' Up! is a CASE The Designer challenge. 😊
I stuck with the layout, but changed up the colors and my focal point. For the leaves, I used the new Simple Leaf punch, and the Peaceful Pine In Color Gingham Gallery DSP and Peaceful Pine cardstock. I used two different retired embossing folders to add texture to the green layer and the plain green leaf. 🌿
I wasn't going for a Christmas look at all, but it kinda looks that way! 🤷‍♀️

I made some cookies this morning to take to church tomorrow. I haven't made these in awhile and had forgotten how good they are! 😋
You can use any combination of dried fruit that you like. Today, I used dried cranberries, chopped dried apricots, and golden raisins. I have used dried blueberries and cherries in the past and they are really good too!

***Fruit & Nut Cookies***

1 cup butter
1 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup granulated sugar
2 eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla
2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
2 1/2 cups quick-cooking oats
1 1/2 teaspoons Apple Pie spice
2 cups diced mixed dried fruit
2/3 cup chopped pecans

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

In a large bowl, beat together butter and sugars until creamy. Add eggs and vanilla; mix well. Stir in the flour, baking soda, salt, oats, and Apple Pie spice; mix thoroughly. Stir in the dried fruit and pecans.
Drop by tablespoonfuls onto ungreased baking sheets.
Bake for 10-12 minutes until lightly browned.
Cool on baking sheets for a few minutes and then remove to racks to cool completely.
Makes about 4 dozen cookies.

This week's Global Design Project Challenge from Stampin' Up! is a theme challenge. 😊
I went with the adorable Silly Old Bear DSP and the coordinating Sweet Words and Labels dies. The dies cut out some of the scenes from the DSP, which makes it easy to create fun cards. 😁
