Happy Friday! 📚

If your weekend plans need a little more reading material, we've got you covered.

We just got in Calamity Club by Kathryn Stockett, Threshing Day by Rebecca Yarros, more historical fiction, and a small restock of books for our elementary-age readers!

Whether you're looking for your next read or something for your little bookworm, come spend a little time with us.

Fair warning: you may come in for one book and leave with three. It happens. 😂

We're open 12–8 today, and we'd love to see you!

Look what just arrived at The Local Chapter! 📚

Kathryn Stockett is back with The Calamity Club!

Trust us, it’s the 600-page historical fiction masterpiece your fall reading stack needs!

The coffee is hot (or cold 😉) and the w**e/mimosas are ready to be poured! Hang out on the couch, and get lost in 1933 Mississippi.

We're open today 12pm to 9pm for the Ghost Tour tonight! Don't forget to go by to get your tickets! Only two nights left!

📚 Introducing Toddler Tuesdays!

We're working on adding a few new things to the store, and we're excited to start creating more opportunities for our community to come together!

Starting soon, we'll be hosting Toddler Tuesdays on the third Tuesday of every month at 2pm!

This hour will be geared toward our younger kiddos! We'll read a story together, have a little snack, and hopefully help foster a love of reading from an early age.

We want our store to be a place where kids can grow up loving books, families can make memories, and our community can come together.

We're excited to start offering something for our littlest book lovers, and we can't wait to see those little faces! 📚🖤

WE JUST SOLD OUR 500TH BOOK!!! 🥹📚

Let that sink in for a second. We opened our doors on September 19th, and we're already over 500 books sold!

Amber Cruz and her daughter, Rosemary, happened to be the ones to snag the Dream Harbor box set that officially pushed us over that milestone!

When Chelsea and I started talking about opening The Local Chapter as a storefront, we had a dream of creating a place where people could find their next favorite book, discover something new, and feel like they belonged. Watching that dream become something real has been a little surreal, and moments like this make all the long days, late nights, and hard work worth it.

To everyone who has walked through our doors, bought a book, grabbed a drink, shared a post, told a friend about us, or simply cheered us on — THANK YOU. Seriously. Every single bit of support means more to us than you know.

500 books down, and SO many more chapters to go. ❤️📚

Welcome to The Local Chapter, y'all. We're just getting started. 🖤

📚 A few new things we’re working on at The Local Chapter! 🖤

We’re working on expanding our Spanish-language books and adding more cultural and educational books for our little readers!

We want to make sure our shelves have a little something for everyone, and that includes books that help kids learn about different cultures, traditions, and celebrations from around the world. 🌎✨

These Celebrating Día de los Mu***os activity books are one of the things we’re excited to bring in! We love the idea of making learning fun, introducing kids to new traditions, and giving families more opportunities to explore the world through books.

We’re always looking for ways to grow, bring new things to our shelves, and make The Local Chapter a place where everyone can find something they love. ❤️

What would you like to see more of on our shelves? More Spanish books? More cultural and educational books for the kiddos? Tell us! We want to hear from you! 📚💕
