We are open this Saturday, but the Square will be closed for the Car Show. Please use the off Square parking if you're coming to the County Seat Antique Mall . It will be a great day to check out the car show and shop for Antiques!

👀 Well… we heard a rumor.

You know how small-town gossip goes. 😂 So before this one makes another trip around the square, we figured we’d clear it up:

📣 YES — the Benton Square WILL be closed for the Rend Lake Car Show this Saturday, September 12!

The Benton Square will be closed from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. as we welcome cars, vendors, visitors, and our community downtown.

So if you heard otherwise… consider this the official word straight from the Chamber. 😉

Now that we’ve settled that rumor, help us spread the right one:

We are saddened to hear of the passing of our long time friend and vendor, AD Schutt. He had a tremendous knowledge of the sport card history and was a great help to Joe and the mall. Joe would always joke that AD had forgot more about cards than Joe knew. He will be missed! Please keep his family and friends in your prayers.
