💳 Worth the read… Let’s talk credit card fees! 💵

As a small business, credit and debit card processing fees definitely add up. Do I like paying them? Nope! 😩 But I also consider them part of the cost of doing business.

One thing I DO NOT do is add a separate card fee to your purchase.

I’ve been seeing more businesses charge 4–5% as a “surcharge” or “convenience fee,” and that’s become one of my little pet peeves. 😬 Depending on how the fee is structured, there are also rules about when these fees can and cannot be charged—especially when it comes to debit cards.

Go down that rabbit hole sometime…you would be surprised how much some make adding that 1-2% extra above what they are paying the credit card comany 🐇😂

Now, do small businesses appreciate cash purchases? Absolutely! 💵❤️ But more than anything, we appreciate that you chose to shop with us, no matter how you pay.
