Allies Antiques & Appraisals Welcome to Allies! I am a certified Antique appraiser with 30+ years of experience in my field. I'm a third generation antiques lover and collector.
(1)

I have bought and sold on the internet for several years, traveled the US doing antique shows, and even owned my own store. I am a certified appraiser and enjoy helping others find treasures! Can you tell I love this world of antiques? I can appraise on several different levels. I can verbally evaluate all the way to a formal written appraisal for insurance needs. Each appraisal is different and everyone's needs are unique. My goal is to make you feel at home shopping at my store and to make you a repeat customer of Allie's Antiques. I bring sincere honesty, hours of research and 30+ years experience to my clients. Pop over to my website for more details. www.alliesantiqueappraisals.com

Can you help? The Bella Vista museum is in need of GALLON PLASTIC JUGS. If you have any, please consider dropping them off at the museum at 1885 Bella Vista Way. Open Wed. to Sunday 1:00-5:00. If they are not open, they will have a container on the front porch for drop off. Thanks for your help. Bella Vista Historical Museum šŸ“£šŸ“£šŸ“£

Got a big Announcement!!

(Yall know it's big if it requires me to get a dreaded headshot photošŸ¤£šŸ™ƒ)

Iā€™ve been asked to serve as an expert appraiser on the brand-new PBS show, Ozarks Roots & Relics, premiering on October 3rd. (Similar to Antiques Roadshow but just for our Ozark area!)
It is such an honor to join the PBS team and help folks from across our region uncover the hidden history of their long-overlooked collectibles, rare art, and unique historical pieces. Mark your calendars for October 3rd to attend in Springfield, Missouri. If you want to come, PBS has graciously given me a few extra passes to get in free; DM me! I would love to meet you!

Additionally, if you can't make it and have a treasure of your own that needs a professional evaluation, send me a message or visit www.alliesantiqueappraisals.com

Ever looked at that weird heirloom in your closet and thought, "Could this fund my next vacation, or is it literally just old junk?"

Now is your chance to find out! Bring your mystery item and join us for a hilarious, interactive afternoon of discovery. Golden Disco : Thrift & Craft Collective Every ticket holder gets exactly one item appraised, and we will pluck a few extra-juicy pieces from the crowd for a live, onstage evaluation.

The Golden Rule: Your item must fit entirely in your handsā€”leave the giant Victorian dressers and grand pianos at home, please!

Come for the vintage gossip, stay for the treats. We will chat about "Whatā€™s Hot in the Vintage World" (and what needs to stay in the attic), host a live Q&A session, and stuff ourselves with delicious refreshments from SIFT BAKEHOUSE

When: Sunday Sept 20th at 2 p.m.

Where: Golden Disco Event Room

Cost: $35 per ticket

How to Buy a Golden Ticket:
Tickets are strictly limited, sold on a first-come, first-served basis, and capped at 4 tickets per person. Your name must be on our guest list to get inā€”no tickets will be sold at the door!

To secure your spot, DM me directly with your First & Last Name, your Venmo username, and the number of tickets you want. I will message you back to confirm availability and coordinate your payment. **** "Tickets are non-refundable but transferable to a friend if you can't make itā€”just DM us to update the guest list name!"

OH MY āļø Stars
Listen up Estate sale people (buyers and sellers) Iā€™ve noticed some real bad actors and some really bad etiquette at sales lately.

Let me very clear. If I know you are pre-selling or having influencers coming and ā€œpreviewing/buying/pre-screeningā€ whatever you wanna call it, you absolutely WILL NOT be on my recommendation list.
Secondly if youā€™re marking your items up so high just to ā€œdisposeā€ of them or buy back at the end of sale, just to resell yourself, you just crossed your name off my list.

Thereā€™s a code of ethics you should be abiding by in this space. HONESTY, FAIRNESS, and AVOIDING conflict of interest are just a few.
90%of my clients end up with an estate sale company, I will NOT recommend companies that are unfair and donā€™t abide by the rules and give unfair advantages.

Picture of Judgy Cat for extra emphasis that we're both watching.
