Don't forget to check out the bake sale at Berea United Methodist Church today and tomorrow (Friday and Saturday, June 5-6)! ALL proceeds will be used to shop for Operation Christmas Child Shoebox items. Incredible homemade treats, jams/preserves/jellies, snacks, and bottled water. Located at 101 Fee Street (Parish House) in Berea, KY.

Don't miss out on the Berea UMC's church-wide yard sale Friday and Saturday (June 5 and 6). Check out all the goodies we're selling! New this year, garden and house plants! Several great furniture pieces, including a storage/tv cabinet, wooden table with four chairs, a never-used Cricut machine, and SO much more! We're at the Parish House, 101 Fee Street, Berea, KY.

We also have the electronic treadmill (see two photos) for sale that was donated by a friend of the church. It isn't on the church premises. Contact Rita Mackin Fox via Messenger on Facebook if you want to take a look at it, and she'll hook you up with the current owner. Owners will deliver it to Garrard or Madison County locations if you don't have transportation to move it.

Members of the Berea UM Church: I hope you've all been cleaning out your junk rooms, closets, and garages to help us make the 2026 Berea UMC Church-Wide Yard Sale the biggest ever! All items should be priced to sell. No clothing please.

And don't forget to bake some goodies to be sold at the Operation Christmas Child Shoebox to help buy items for the shoebox project this year and help pay postage! Items should be individually wrapped and priced. Cookies, brownies, quickbreads (slices or loaves), yeast breads, cupcakes, dipped pretzels, Rice Krispy treats, snack mixes, etc. If you'd like to see it there, then we want it!

Yard Sale Items Drop-off times:
Sunday, May 31, after 11 a.m. worship service until about 1:30 p.m. (Help will also be needed after the service to move chairs from around the tables during that time.)

Monday thru Wednesday, June 1-3, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Thursday, June 4, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Baked goods drop-off times:
Wednesday, June 3, 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Thursday, June 4, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

If these times don't work, let Karen Buckles or Rita Fox know, and we'll try to make arrangements to accommodate your schedule.

The pick your own baker's dozen (13 cookies for $6) cookie table is up--and they're going fast! Check out these yummy choices (as of about half an hour ago). Hurry! We'll be here until 3 p.m., but the cookies might not last that long!

The Christmas Bazaar will be held from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 6, at 101 Fee Street in Berea, KY (across the street from the Berea UMC. Don't miss out!

Members of the Berea UMC have been baking and making all kinds of goodies for those on your gift list (or for your kitchen)! Pumpkin rolls, peanut brittle, jams, pies, cakes, fudge--even some Gluten-free chocolate chip cookies! There's even one Spiced Rum Fruitcake made the traditional way that won't be there long.

And check back Saturday morning, Dec. 6, for this year's Choose Your Own Dozen Cookie table (13 cookies for $6). We have hundreds of cookies and dozens of varieties. Freeze them and pull them out for when you need to take an amazing tray of cookies to share at a family or friends gathering. (It's okay to pick up a few dozen for yourself too! We won't tell Santa!)
