Meet New Elite Joey Cifuentes Fishing 🤠

At a young age, Cifuentes would fish from a small aluminum rowboat, dig mussels from the lake bottom, strip the meat from the shells and use it as bait to catch bass and panfish.

“My goal is to make the Bassmaster Elite Series,” Cifuentes said in 2022. “It’s such a prestigious organization. And, your sponsorships really go up when you make that league.”

Flash forward to present day, Cifuentes has climbed the ranks in the Bassmaster Opens Series to earn a coveted spot in the Bassmaster Elite Series alongside the likes of bass fishing legend and mentor, Larry “The General” Nixon.
