Last week’s UC Berkeley Journalism photo exhibition opening & talk on Ken Light’s “Soul City”. The new photo book chronicles 1970s West Oakland life through Ken Light’s original documentary photography, lovingly produced by our friends at Heyday.

Excellent talk with Light, Noni Session, Bill Drummond and Michael D. Bolden. Check out the exhibition if you can.

Two weeks away! 💚 Join us at Pegasus Books Downtown on Thursday, October 8th for a book launch celebration with horror author and semi-retired drag queen Samantha Josephs, joined in conversation by comedian, actress, and writer Marley Gotterer ✨

We’ll be celebrating the release of “CARRYING” from Putnam Books—Joseph’s electrifying horror debut that’s equal parts funny and harrowing, recently longlisted for the The Center for Fiction’s First Novel Prize.
