Fissata Blonde Fizzy White
It's been a while, but fans of our wine will be excited to know Fissata Blonde has made a return. Our Fissata Blonde is a frizzante wine, meaning that it is a gently sparkling wine with light & delicate effervescence. This style is ideally suited to the varietal it is made from, Moscato.
We looked to Piedmont, Italy’s Moscato d’Asti model, as our starting point. We wanted a wine with crowd-pleasing drinkability that was light on its feet, but richly perfumed. To achieve this, we opted to blend the best attributes of South African Muscat of Alexandria & California Muscat.
Our base Muscat of Alexandria comes from a trusted South African grower with whom we have a long-standing relationship. We buttressed this Western Cape component with a California Muscat, resulting in a lightly sparkling wine that exudes notes of white flowers, mandarin orange, & juicy peach. It is as playful to drink as it is serious with food, as shown in the pairings pic. This gentle sparkler is also a fabulous way to toast a special occasion or end a sultry summer evening.
