Weekend fishing report. Expect rain around noon till about 4pm. Stream conditions are good and should handle the rain very well. This should make for excellent fishing this evening and into tom. Worm and scud presentations should work well like San Juan Worm, Greenie we**ie or squirmy wormy. Lake fishing seems to be hot right, look for bass on pre-spawn staging points like flats near spawning ground and secondary points. Walleye seem to be post spawn feeding on drop offs and ledges. Meyersdale will be having their youth trout fishing day at the playground in Meyersdale tomorrow Sunday the 21st. Good Luck everyone! Happy Fishing!

Friday fish report for the weekend. Streams are down from all the rain. They have a little stain to them, and some current. Try using bigger split shot to get down and slow down. Using bright colored lures seem to work well. Should be perfect conditions for Saturday. Freshly stocked streams include Flaugherty, Elk Lick, Miller Run, Piney, Tub Mill and Laurel hill. Goodluck Happy Fishing!

Trout fishing report for Somerset County. Streams are low and clear. Use lighter line and longer leaders. Stick to natural presentations. Freshly stocked streams include Casselman, Big Piney, Flaugherty, Stonycreek, Raystown Branch, and Elk Lick. Best of luck, Tight Lines!

Good afternoon everyone, I know we have been gone from Facebook for a little but we are back for the 2023 fishing season. A few things have changed. We will still be selling our hand tied flies but due to the increase in sales all business will be handled through our online store now. We are now partnered with Cortland Line, and will be selling their products also. Keep a lookout for new products added to the store weekly. We will also be posting fishing updates for the local waters, stockings, stream conditions and current hatches. We appreciate all the support and business. Happy Fishing!
