Picked up items yesterday from an online auction. The auction listing said one out of the three items had a crack. Just got them out to take photos to list and TWO of the items have a crack. So sad! Not only because they are so beautiful but also because I spent a lot on broken items. I have all ready sent an email to the auction house but I know there is nothing they are going to do about it. And this auction place does not offer a preview and they had my things packed when I got there. What would you do? Do I throw the broken ones away? Do I try and sell them as is, in hopes someone could somehow fix them?

Added a few goodies to my booths at Rollermills yesterday. Rollermills Antique Mall is located in Lewisburg, PA. Open 7 days a week 10am-5pm.

On Thursday night I bought a box of Jadeite that was in a basement of a restaurant for decades. It was really dirty. I asked a collector's group how to get it clean. I ended up soaking them overnight with Dawn and then the next morning what I still couldn't wipe off I used Windex and it worked!! The pieces are now beautiful!!

A few weeks ago I sold these measuring cups for $70.00 plus shipping. Are you a seller and seeing success with geese and duck items? Are you a collector and love this trend? Either way I am here for it and listing as many of these fun pieces that I can find. I just listed a cheese dome and a sugar bowl pitcher combo today. Listings are in comments.

Auction ends tomorrow night for this amazing Royal Haeger Fish Planter.

This item was shown in the 1955 Haeger Catalog. I have scoured the internet but cannot find another one like this or any that have sold. Pre-owned item in good condition. Item is large. It is about 12-1/2" from side to side x 6-12" from front to back x 12" tall, weighs 3lbs 9.2oz.
