The pinion cover on the front differential on pre-2018 Polaris Sportsman/Scrambler 850’s and 1000’s are notorious for cracking and taking out your front differential. 2018 and newer switched from an aluminum cover to steel which is stronger, but can still crack. There are a few companies that sell aftermarket billet aluminum covers that are significantly stronger for a piece of mind. I would rather spend $160 on a new cover than $1800+ on a new differential. Rodents can cause havoc on lawn equipment during the winter months. It is critical to have these areas clean and free of debris as that is how the engine cools itself. Your engine can run significantly hotter as well as overheat if these areas aren’t cleaned.

Just completed a Honda CRF50 build with an 88cc big bore kit. Added an aftermarket pipe, pro taper bars, aftermarket forks and CRF70 swing arm is next. Runs and sounds awesome!

What to say about the Polaris Sportsman 850. Tons of power, and extremely comfortable. Requires a lot of maintenance. These machines can last a long time if maintained properly. Full tune up on this owners machine. Give us a call! 207-337-1085

CFMoto Cforce 600. These are good machines and have all the bells and whistles standard. The new ones come with even better clutching than before. The stock air filters on these are marginal at best, replaced it with a Uni filter. then an oil change. 207-337-1085

Sportsman 600, fun machines with plenty of power. Customer stated was not running, found one of the plug wires disconnected. Sometimes it really can be that simple! Did tune up plus new battery. Give us a call! 207-337-1085
