It is with great sadness that I report the death of my dear friend and colleague, Mike Pankion. He'd been fighting, with all his might, a rare cancer for years, but finally the cancer won. He not only worked with us at PS Wood but was a true woodturning artist in his own right. His finishes were incredible. He helped us more than he could ever know and I will be eternally grateful to him. My condolences to his wife, Judy, and his children and grandchildren. Rest in peace my friend. I will truly miss you.

We were all so sorry to hear the news of the passing of Judy Gale Roberts, the queen of intarsia. Both she and her art work were loved world-wide. Today PS Wood Machines celebrates its 30th Anniversary. We could not have accomplished this without our loyal customers, so to you we say THANK YOU, THANK YOU so very much. In celebration of this event, PS Wood has donated 30 teddy bears to our local Bethel Park Police Dept. for their use with circumstances involving children.

I just received this intarsia picture from my good friend, Richard Lassman in FL. His skill always impresses me but this one is extraordinary. The detail in the hair is remarkable let alone her beautiful face. Congrats Richard on a job more than well done.
