Today was a HOT MESS. 😂

And let’s be honest… holiday weeks are always the hardest. You think, “It’s a short week! This should be easy!” And somehow the short week ends up feeling twice as long. 😂

I worked bell-to-bell at school, and my husband worked later than planned. Three kids, three different practice schedules, and approximately 47 places we apparently needed to be at the exact same time. 🫠

Oh, and because apparently we didn’t have enough going on… the dryer broke. 🙃 Thankfully, it’s being repaired, but add that to the list.

There were moments today when I genuinely felt like I needed to clone myself just to keep up.

And now… the house is finally quiet. 🌙

The kids are settled. The running around has stopped. Nobody needs to be picked up, dropped off, fed, or reminded where they’re supposed to be for at least a few hours. 😂

And I’m sitting here in the stillness of the night with my nostalgic Disney popcorn can filled with popcorn 🍿, a good book 📖, and absolutely nothing I have to do for the next few minutes.

After a day of chaos, this feels like LUXURY.

Tell me I’m not the only one who lives for these tiny pockets of quiet at the end of a completely ridiculous day. 😂❤️

✨ Back-to-school home reset is officially underway✨

After a whirlwind end to the school year, shoulder surgery in May, and jumping straight into summer, it’s time to get life and our house back into working order. 🏡📚

This year we’ve got all 3 kids running cross country, busy school schedules, work, practices, meets, and all the things… so I’m trying to get ahead by cleaning, organizing, and meal planning before the chaos officially begins. 🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️🎒
