Mama Intern and I continued my birthday celebrations with a trip to a Jersey Spirits Distilling Co. , and they were speaking my language!

Small batch.
Simple and REAL ingredients.
Interactive workshop.
Infusing alcohol into products.

We spent the afternoon learning how to make boozy, infused ice cream and O. M. G. was it GOOD! 🍦🥃

Such a fun afternoon with a chill group of people doing something completely different together. Such an awesome way to end my bday month. 💗

Last year, I promised myself I was going to take some time out for myself every month for self care like a massage or something. ...... That lasted like 2 months. 😂😂

So when Get Fit With Suki shared a spa Daycation at a luxury resort filled with a little pampering, relaxing, and absolutely nothing on a schedule, AND it's still my birthday week... I was there!

I got my massage, enjoyed a foot soak, chilled in the hot tub and even had my first w**e tasting! 🍷🧖🏾‍♀️💗

Thank you Suki for putting together this spa day and I appreciate that you let the day flow however we wanted. Also THANK YOU for not making me do your fitness boot camp while I was there because ma'am... I'M NOT READYYYYY! 😩🤣🤣

And I loved getting to spend part of the day with my petal sis, Jasmine Joseph of 🌸 It’s always good catching up with someone who understands the importance of making space for yourself and getting to enjoy herself instead of planning it for us. 💗

So I'm starting over with my monthly massage goal. 😂

Today was my BIRTHDAAAAAYYY 🥳🥳🥳!! And I'm officially 45 🫪.

We had fun with the video, but I'm grateful for each and every year. And grateful for everyone who celebrated me and with me all weekend long.

Thanks to all of you for all the DMs, texts, calls, orders and always showing love 🫶🏾. Forever thankful for my community! 💗💗💗

Thank you to everyone who braved the heat, humidity and the threat of a tornado 🌪️ to come support the community and raise funds and awareness for AKUA Career Academy 🙏🏾.

We ate, we laughed, we did good by giving what we could to help our community through the sneaker and school supply drive and raising money thru the raffles for the orphaned children in Ghana.

I can't wait to nurture the new connections I made and the old connections that are now stronger 💗.

‼️EVENT ALERT! These days, I'm much more intentional about where Noraa Body Love shows up. I love being part of events that celebrate community, introduce people to local businesses, and support organizations making a real difference. That's exactly what Unity Through Rice is all about.

The event this Saturday, July 18 is raising awareness and support for Akua Career Academy's mission to build a technical school in Ghana, and it's going to be such a fun evening with delicious food, local artists, music, face painting, giveaways, and small businesses from around the community.

If you stop by my booth, come smell all the things (smells are FREE! 😅), tell me which scent catches your attention first, or just say hi! One of my favorite parts of doing events is finally meeting the people behind the follows, comments, and orders. Those conversations are what make these events so fun for me. 💗

At events, a lot of people don’t know where to start. So they’ll ask what my best sellers are.

The funny thing is, it changes month to month.

Some products have been customer favorites for years, and others suddenly take off because someone tells a friend, a scent gets shared, or people keep coming back for it.

I like seeing those little shifts because they tell the story of what people are loving right now.

One thing I'm trying to get better at is actually slowing down long enough to do something for myself.

Between my full-time job, making products, workshops, and events, my calendar fills up fast... so sometimes it's hard for my traveling nail tech and me to find a day that works for both of us. But when we finally do, I'm always glad I made the time.

She recently picked up my Pink Melon Body Scrub because she loved the scent, and getting to experience it during my appointment felt like a little reminder that the products I make become part of someone else's way of helping people feel cared for.

And you know she finished my hands off right with my body butter 💅🏾.
