Taking time to reflect on the beautiful weekend we shared with Lucas Beaufort connecting with so many creative people in our community.

If you came out to LUAG, Archive or Homebase610 this weekend to listen to Lucas speak or watch him paint, then you know what an amazing person he is.

Not because Lucas acts as if he’s amazing but because he takes the time to make sure each person he meets feels seen and affirmed to keep chasing what they are amazing at.

If you stood in line at Homebase to have Lucas Beaufort paint your object, you experienced his ability to affirm people first hand.

Lucas painted for a constant line of people for 5 hours straight without a break and the last person in line (me) received the same attention, the same curiosity and the same care in what he painted.

It was an honor to have Lucas paint Gus-Gus on a VHS copy of City Without Spots. Making this video changed my life. It took me around the world skateboarding with friends. It gave me a reason to open a skateshop. It gave me a community to serve.

And this weekend, it connected me with an artist from the other side of the world whose ❤️ is just like mine.

“This project brings me a chance to talk to everyone.”

At its essence, that’s what this weekend is all about. had only one goal in mind when it came to travelling to Bethlehem- and that was just to interact with everyone in our community.

Tonight at one lucky audience member got to take home a spray can that Lucas painted live during the panel discussion. Tomorrow from 3-8pm you can bring ANYTHING for Lucas to paint for the Secondhand Project at the Block Party here at the shop RAIN OR SHINE.

Plus we’ll have live music by skate lessons with free art activities with joined by our neighbors .brew.bethlehem & more!

We’ll see you at the shop tomorrow regardless of the weather 🫡

Archive gallery presents “Junctions” an exhibition about exploratory paths, and how they intersect with life and creativity. The crossways expressed through color, movement, imagery, and inspiration; all tell the story of how an individual becomes part of something greater than themselves with the support of the community they surround themselves with. These six innovative artists will present their work at Archive Gallery during the first night of “A Good Mess”. Please join us as we celebrate artists from all over the world meeting right here at Archive!

Found object painting with Lucas Beaufort meaning you can bring (almost) any object you want and Lucas will paint it live for you!

Free community art projects for the entire family with Lehigh Valley Artist Meetup - all supplies provided

Free skate lessons for the kids with Push Ahead Lehigh Valley followed by a skate jam & maybe even a few contests if anyone wants to get buck 🤫

We’ll also be joined by the Nite Liters LLC with some live music & our neighbors Deja_Brew with refreshments & Bespoke Acupuncture + Aesthetics with an air conditioned zen lounge

Plus we’ll be releasing a super limited edition collection with Lucas Beaufort featuring original art from Lucas- printed locally by LVAC

ONE WEEK TIL Lucas Beaufort arrives in Bethlehem for A Good Mess!

We’re so stoked to take over Southside soon with Lucas and our friends at LUAG for a live panel discussion with Lucas and a handful of local artists, Archive for the “Junctions” art show opening next Saturday. Spots are limited for the panel so make sure you sign up via the link in our stories!

Plus we’re shutting down Vine St. next Sunday for a community block party featuring found object painting with Lucas, free art projects with Lehigh Valley Artist Meetup skateboarding with Push Ahead Lehigh Valley live music from the Nite Liters LLC artists, vendors & more completely free for everyone to attend.
