MEET THE AUTHOR of

Nadyia S. Blakemore began her career as a professional dancer, training at the Alvin Ailey American Dance Center in New York City. She is a full academic scholarship recipient of Long Island University and  holds a BFA in dance education.  After graduating with honors cm laude,  Nadyia set her eyes on traveling to Los Angeles to begin her career in commercial dance and  has performed with artists such as Jay-Z, Skakira, Beyonce and others. Nadyia S. Blakemore has been seen as well on numerous commercials and in movies including "The Curious Case of Benjamin Button," and "Gangster Squad".  Nadyia S. Blakemore's extensive career  includes  choreography for artists such as Wyclef Jean, The Saturdays, Disney XD, and Nike. Always having a great appreciation for education and children's books, Nadyia realized that she had a passion for storytelling and decided to pursue a career in authoring children's books. Nadyia S. Blakemore resides in Los Angeles with her husband and two children.
