Once my child was born I discovered that she grew quickly out of her clothing, and most of the time the clothes that we did purchase never really fit right. Fed up with the ill-fitting and short lived garments, I purchased my first sewing machine and began making clothes that fit properly and are made to last. I enjoy making items that are designed to grow with children, and are highly functional
for both the caregiver and the child. I also try to use up every scrap of fabric to reduce waste. After lots of practice with making items for my family, I'm excited to share what has worked for us with other busy families.
