Two weddings down, and three more coming this week! 💍

I didn’t get nearly as many photos as I would have liked from one of the weddings because we were on a serious time crunch from start to finish. Sometimes you’re so busy making sure everything gets done that you forget to stop and take pictures!

I’m just grateful I get to be a small part of so many special days.

And honestly, I wouldn’t have it any other way. Wedding season is my favorite kind of busy! 🥰

I forgot to share these arrangements that went out at the beginning of last week!

These arrangements featured the most gorgeous dahlias grown right here locally by Eagle Lake Blooms. There’s just something extra special about creating with flowers grown by a local flower farmer. ❤️

I’m back and so grateful for the beautiful state of Minnesota! ❤️

I don’t care what they say, I still believe our Twin Cities are some of the best major cities there are! I know people have a LOT to say about Minnesota, but visiting other places makes you realize just how truly grateful you are for the place you call home.

Sometimes you don’t realize what you have until you step away from it for a little while. I chose this state as a young, unknowing 20-year-old girl who left everything and everyone she knew behind in her home state of Illinois. And don’t get me wrong, Illinois is an amazing state too, with the beautiful city of Chicago and so much more.

But Minnesota became home. It’s where I built my life, raised my kids, built my business, made friendships, created memories, and somehow became the person I am today.

Traveling is one of my favorite things because it opens your eyes to so many beautiful places, but there’s something pretty special about coming home and realizing, “Damn… I really do love it here.”

So here’s to Minnesota, the lakes, the seasons, the Twin Cities, the small towns, the people, and yes… even the mosquitoes. 😂

I’m happy to be home. Minnesota, you’re pretty damn beautiful. 🌲🏡❤️

Yesterday we headed to Oregon and spent the entire day in what ended up being my FAVORITE place on this trip, Cannon Beach. 🌊❤️

Not gonna lie, my jaw dropped when I saw the town. It was absolutely beautiful, but my favorite part? THE OCEAN. 🌊 This girl is a water girl through and through!

And then seeing the rocks from The Goonies?! COME ON! 😍 Who wouldn’t fall in love with this place?!

If I had to choose between Washington and Oregon after this trip… I’m going Oregon 100%. Sorry, Washington! 😂🌲🌊

Yesterday we hiked 6 miles at Mount Rainier! 🏔️

If you’ve ever hiked the Skyline Trail, you know it’s basically 3 miles straight up and 3 miles straight back down—which sounds totally reasonable until your knees start filing for divorce.

My knees barely made it, and I may have almost cried twice… but hey, I CAN SAY I DID IT! 🙌🏼

Would I do it again? Ask me when my legs start working properly.
